these vintage costumes are not only simple but contain the additional ominous element of innocence which makes them more petrifying than any hollywood costume. our desensitized view of halloween outfits is clearly a result of our exposure to the manifestations of costume… even couture, but then there is probably the scariest of all - apparent normality…
