it’s his glam-up-meditteranean style that first grabbed me; lorenzo castillo seems to design without decorating, without the super matchy-matchy styles so prevalently popular these days; an edited and collected look from someone who can superbly integrate pattern-on-pattern. i love the playful energy of his geometrics, whether in fabric,floors or furnishing… his cozy-meets-cool style has a clever and lasting quality; down to the mirror backed bull’s horns in the dining room. my love and understanding of all things spanish is probably due to the fact that my mother was still teaching spanish-dance while she was pregnant with me, mr castillo’s work however has developed a true taste of internationality…

Since it’s nearly impossible to gauge each individual’s level of sensitivity or stupidity, I’d rather play it safe and classify this site as suitable for adults only. Although that term is still nebulous to me, the responsibility remains that of the viewer.
