in the post-panic of the recent brexit vote, i am reminded again of how people’s fearful emotions can get the best of them, even against their better judgement. the uk’s david collins studio‘s collaboration with italian furniture makers promemoria remains a symbol of collective power through their elegant ‘london collection’. as a striking metaphor for crossover co-operation, both players remained steadfast and confident in their aim; their respective identities and their expertise culminating in a beautifully balanced and proud product. i can only hope that this kind of sensibility will prevail; that social or cultural insecurities will not get in the way of relationships built on our combined and diverse strengths.

Since it’s nearly impossible to gauge each individual’s level of sensitivity or stupidity, I’d rather play it safe and classify this site as suitable for adults only. Although that term is still nebulous to me, the responsibility remains that of the viewer.

The identification and definition of creativity are two different things. Challenging conventional interpretations and perspectives expands its validity and effect.
