creative imagemaker ramon haindl has certainly been a progressive force in photography and illustration with an eye for texture and form. his aesthetics are pared down; seeking the truth of expression rather than the embellishment of reality. his limited publication: istanbul fragment no. 1 had a strange endearing effect on me, being an album of images from a city that is both so intimate and foreign to me.

Since it’s nearly impossible to gauge each individual’s level of sensitivity or stupidity, I’d rather play it safe and classify this site as suitable for adults only. Although that term is still nebulous to me, the responsibility remains that of the viewer.
