certainly for that spot where you needed something sculptural… i can imagine my mother saying in that familiar suspicious voice of hers: ‘and who might that be for?’ but personally i find rick owens’ furniture designs strangely attractive… primitively hewn thrones and carved benches, here is simplicity and soul mixed with a design skill and quality material and workmanship; a wild spirit tamed by construct. indeed very desirable, very rick owens.
