having looked at reinaldo lourenço‘s spring 2013 collection, i was amazed once again at his natural insight into fashion design. very contra-couture, but whether the collections he does convey essence of punk-conchita or futuristic-mariachi, he succeeds in communicating his concepts so deftly, which besides his sophisticated treatment of detailing, contain a clever use of color and fabric. the spring collection’s simplicity of styling and mediterranean-gelato look was inspired by yachting but veers from utilizing classical nautical motifs and still succeeds in having something sub-tropical-street-chic about it. to me his inventive and intelligent incorporation of nostalgia and trend into his collections will remain part of his signature look; always elegant, ever memorable and unequivocally effortless.

Since it’s nearly impossible to gauge each individual’s level of sensitivity or stupidity, I’d rather play it safe and classify this site as suitable for adults only. Although that term is still nebulous to me, the responsibility remains that of the viewer.
