perhaps it is because i am from a country where the average gastronomic iq of the population is below zero, that i have such compassion for epicurean establishments. i find it so tiresome how many reviews end up praising the food and complaining about the expense… and although i’m not blind to the economies of our time, i am grateful that passion has yet to find a price and taste is not a democracy.
one such place is in puymirol, france, where michel trama executes his visions;
apart from the beautiful scenery and the jacques garcia signature decor, the charm of country meets civilization with a colloquial twist has always been attractive to me. now add the delicate seasonal menu of m trama complete with his trademark ‘cristallines’… et voilĂ ! the only question remaining is what to wear.
