i find the talented milanese photographer lucia giacani’s portrayals of women and their values both pleasing and intriguing, her point of departure seems to be inherent woman-ness… from the girl to the whore, the seductress to the mother, jealous lover and dominatrix et al. taking all these female roles and personas and marrying them with imaginative styling and beautiful models, she has produced a veritable portrait gallery that more than documents our impressions of contemporary femininity…
